PLEASE BE ADVISED that the Public Works Yard will be resuming Saturday hours starting May 16, 2020 from 8am-12pm (garbage bags only). Please note that residents must remain 6 ft apart and wear a face mask or face covering while in the DPW yard as per CDC guidelines. Maximum residents allowed in the yard will be 4 at one time. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

The Department of Public Works is responsible for maintaining the Township’s infrastructure, garbage collection, recycling and road repairs.

The Public Work’s Department has the responsibility of maintaining all Township owned buildings and grounds facilities, streets, roads, parks, equipment and vehicles. It additionally takes care of recycling of metal items along with items containing Freon. For the convenience of residents, the Department maintains a recycling yard, located behind the Police Department at 190A Atlantic Avenue. The hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday morning (garbage bags only). Residents may also bring to the yard, bottles, cans, used oil, cardboard paper and metal products. Covered electronics along with hazardous waste must be disposed at the county landfill, 609-499-1001.
