Township Administrator

The Township Administrator, under the direction of the Township Committee, is responsible for the administration of all town functions and activities. The Township Administrator is responsible for the efficient administration of all departments and employees.

The Township Administrator implements policies established by the Township Committee in accordance with the strategic direction they set forth. The Township Administrator manages the day to day operations of the town, in accordance with these policies and strategies. To do so, the Township Administrator maintains close contact with the Township Committee, keeps the Committee advised of all activities and decisions, and makes recommendations regarding Town operations, as well as any developing concerns.

The Township Administrator provides leadership and direction in the development of short rang and long range plans, provides professional advice to the Committee and Department Heads, keeps the Committee fully advised regarding all departmental operations, fiscal affairs, problems, administrative actions, and the long range needs of the Township.

The Township Administrator is the primary interface for the Town with neighboring Towns, Public and Private Sector Organizations, Township Professionals, as well as all Residents.
